Physical Therapist

Department: PACE
Location: Lawrence, KS

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our Lawrence PACE Center.

Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our participants. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing participants' conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy to improve their overall function and quality of life. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and a true passion for helping others.

Midland Care’s Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.

Employment Status: Part-Time | Monday-Friday

Salary starting at $40/hr. (based on experience)

Qualifications

Required: Graduate of an accredited entry-level program in physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, the council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, or other equivalent organizations approved by the Secretary, Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. Current unrestricted Kansas State license to practice as a physical therapist. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. One year of professional experience required, minimum one year experience working with the frail and elderly population, home care or geriatric experience.
