Physical Therapist Assistant

Department: PACE
Location: Topeka, KS

Midland Care has an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our PACE Center in Topeka.

Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work directly with PACE participants under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitative services, helping individuals improve movement, manage pain, and prevent or recover from injuries.

Midland Care’s Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.

Employment Status: Full Time | Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: starting at $25+/hour (pay is based on requirements and like experience)

Qualifications

Required: Certification as physical therapy assistant in the state of Kansas. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. One year of professional experience required, minimum one year experience working with the frail and elderly population, home care or geriatric experience.

Preferred: One year of professional experience in home care or geriatric setting.
