Wellness Assistant

Location: Topeka, KS

Join our team as a Wellness Assistant at our PACE Center in Topeka!

Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with PACE Participants, supporting and promoting wellness initiatives and programs designed to enhance the health and well-being of our participants. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining physical therapy experience while making a positive impact on the lives of others. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends.

Midland Care’s Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.

Employment Status: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm

Pay Rate starting at $13+/hr (pay is based of like experience/requirements)

Qualifications

Required: Must possess a valid Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 18 years of age or older to work in participants’ homes. Must have one year of experience working with elderly individuals or equivalent education/training.
